Slaven Kordić at Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj – 24–27 September 2026

At this year’s Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, our Managing Partner, Slaven Kordić, participated in two panels discussing the importance of people and culture in investment decisions and the growth of the Museum of Illusions.

At HR.Weekend, the regional gathering of HR professionals, he joined the panel "Money View on People & Culture" with Darijo Krešić (GRUBISIC KRESIC Corporate Finance) and Jure Mikuž (South Central Ventures), moderated by Mojca Domiter.

Slaven shared Invera's perspective on the importance of the team in the investment process, highlighting the attention given to assessing the people behind a business. This includes thorough culture due diligence and finding the right people for the right roles. He emphasised that, alongside capital and strategy, the quality of the team, strength of leadership and ability of an organisation to adapt are critical to the success of an investment.

At Investment.Weekend, Slaven joined Roko Živković, co-founder of the Museum of Illusions, in the session "How to sell an Illusion", moderated by Matko Maravić.

The session explored the growth of the Museum of Illusions from a local idea into the world's largest chain of private museums and the partnership with Invera behind its international expansion. Earlier this year, a majority stake in the company was sold to US-based Brightwood Capital Advisors, while Invera remains a minority shareholder.
