At the Financial Forum organized by Lider Media, our Managing Partner Slaven Kordić joined a panel discussion on "Investment Funds and Strategies for Financing Company Growth."

He addressed how market uncertainty is increasingly impacting the investment fund landscape, noting that funds must now take a more proactive approach to risk management in their investment strategies.

“The current climate for private equity isn’t ideal,” said Kordić, “but if raising a fund was easy, everyone would do it.”

When asked about entrepreneurs’ trust in private equity, he emphasized transparency from day one—negotiating not just the price, but all parameters to give business owners the full picture. “The more informed your partner is from the start, the smoother the journey.”

Invera Equity Partners reviews over 700 opportunities per cycle, ultimately financing about five. While challenges remain, the local market is maturing, and the spill-over effect—where exited founders reinvest their capital and knowledge—continues to strengthen the ecosystem.

“As always, success in our industry is defined by the exit—and that takes time,” Slaven Kordić concluded.
