World Investor Week – Challenges and opportunities in the global and Croatian markets

Zagreb, 5 October 2022 – On the occasion of World Investor Week, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce organised a roundtable discussion titled 'Challenges and opportunities in the global and Croatian markets'.

On that occasion, current trends and opportunities for stronger financing of the economy with private capital and through the capital market were discussed, with special emphasis on strengthening the role of institutional investors in the development of the economy. To further clarify the role of institutional investors in the development of the Croatian economy, a panel was organised with the participation of the vice president of HGK for industry and sustainable development, the deputy president of the Administrative Council of HANFA, and other representatives of alternative investment funds, institutional investors, and banks.

The representative of Invera Equity Partners on the panel was the company's investment director, Ivan Josipović, who explained the role of private equity funds in the development of the economy and the capital market in Croatia and the region, the common misconceptions entrepreneurs have about private equity funds, and the future outlook for the development and expansion of the private equity industry.
