Museum of Illusions and Invera Equity Partneri: Kemal Sikirić at IMD Business School, Lausanne

Kemal Sikirić, Managing Partner at Invera Equity Partneri, recently spoke at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he shared insights on private equity and the international growth of Museum of Illusions.
Speaking at an event organized by the IMD Alumni Community for Entrepreneurship, Kemal presented the transformation of Museum of Illusions from a local Zagreb concept into a global entertainment brand operating across nearly 70 locations in 27 countries and five continents.
He highlighted the company’s strategic shift from a franchise-based model toward company-owned museums, as well as the importance of the U.S. market in accelerating global expansion. Kemal also noted that the growing demand for experience-based entertainment following the Covid-19 pandemic further supported the company’s growth trajectory. He additionally referenced the recent sale of Museum of Illusions to U.S.-based private equity firm Brightwood Capital Advisors, with Invera retaining a minority ownership stake in the company.
Kemal also reflected on the development of Invera Equity Partneri, which raised €62 million for its first fund during the pandemic, while recently securing €160 million in the first closing of its second fund.
